Wheel alignment: 4 signs you can trust

A car that pulls, an off-centre steering wheel, tires worn on one edge: a 3D alignment sets it straight.

Targets are clamped on each wheel and cameras measure the angles; we then set the toe so the wheels point straight. At S.K.P.S it is done on bay 2, the alignment bay.

The signs

  • The car pulls left or right on a straight road
  • The steering wheel is off-centre
  • Tires worn on the inner or outer edge
  • After a pothole, a kerb, or new tires

How often?

At every tire change, after a knock, or as soon as the car pulls.

Balancing or alignment?

Balancing removes vibrations; alignment fixes a car that pulls to one side and edge wear. Camber adjustment is possible on the same bay if needed.
