Puncture: repairable or not?
A nail in the tread can often be repaired; sidewall damage, never.
IllustrationWe find the leak, check whether the tire can be repaired safely, repair it and set the pressure.
The signs
- A tire that is softer every morning
- A nail or screw in the tread
- The tire-pressure warning light is on
Can every puncture be repaired?
No. Damage on the sidewall or a large cut cannot be repaired safely; we then offer you replacement tires.
Can I keep driving on it?
Only gently to the shop, and never on a flat tire: it damages the casing.
Puncture repair: 15 TND. No appointment needed on bay 1.
